Cookie Policy
Last updated 23 October 2026.
We keep this simple. Off The Drawings uses only the cookies and browser storage that are strictly necessary to run the service. There are no advertising, tracking or analytics cookies.
Cookies we set
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
| otd_sid | Keeps you signed in to your account | 30 days, or until you log out | Strictly necessary |
| otd_g | Protects the Sign in with Google step (security check) | 10 minutes, and only on the sign-in path | Strictly necessary |
Both cookies are secure and HttpOnly (not readable by scripts) and are only sent to offthedrawings.co.uk.
Browser storage
The project tool saves your work in progress in your browser's local storage, such as project details, measurements and your settings. This means your work isn't lost if the page reloads. It stays on your device, and you can clear it at any time in your browser settings.
Third parties
- Google Fonts serves the fonts on some pages. Google receives your IP address but sets no cookies.
- If you choose Sign in with Google, Google's own pages may set cookies under Google's policies.
Do we need your consent?
No. UK law (PECR) exempts strictly necessary cookies and storage from consent, so there is no cookie banner. If we ever add analytics or other non-essential cookies, we'll ask for your consent first.
Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser, but you won't be able to stay signed in without otd_sid.
