Off The Drawings

Terms of Use

Last updated 23 October 2026.

These terms apply when you use offthedrawings.co.uk ("Off The Drawings", "the service"). The service is provided by Ben Freeman trading as Off the Drawings ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.

The service

You upload architectural drawings (PDF). We measure them and produce quantities and reports to help with estimating and ordering. We're always improving the service, so features may change.

Quantities are estimates

Quantities, measurements and reports are guide estimates produced from the drawings you provide. Drawings may be incomplete, out of scale or superseded, so results can differ from what is actually needed. Have a suitably qualified professional check all quantities before you order materials, price work or rely on them in a contract. The outputs are not a formal bill of quantities, a survey or professional advice.

Acceptable use

Please don't: - upload anything unlawful, or anything you don't have the right to use - try to access other people's accounts or data, or get around security or usage limits - reverse-engineer, scrape, copy or resell the service or its outputs as a competing service - overload or disrupt the service, or use automated tools against it without permission - upload malware or harmful files

We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

Fees

If we introduce paid features, we'll show the price clearly before you're asked to pay, and any payment terms will be set out at that point.

Our liability

Availability and changes

We aim to keep the service running smoothly, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free. We may update these terms. If changes are significant, we'll let you know by email or on the site.

Ending

You can stop using the service at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or end access if these terms are broken.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
